We ran across a nifty little area in Cary. There was a winery, and a park with hiking, and a small lake with canoe, paddleboat, and these mini sail boat (don't remember the exact name) rentals. It was incredibly populated too! There was also a boardwalk and picnic areas and VERY nice bathroom facilities. We're planning on getting a canoe, Old Towne to be exact as they don't tip nearly as easily.
It's nicely hidden as you can see the office buildings behind Mark. We really just ran up on this place, but we certainly plan to return. With our canoe.

Visit to Greenfield
It had been a full year and a half since I had gone to visit my hometown, Greenfield. My parents (mother especially) kept me quite busy with visits to friends and family. It was so great to see everybody and how quickly the kids are changing. My Aunt Martha hosted her usual Sunday lunch with all of the family. It was very delicious and I enjoyed so very much getting to spend more time with them. It made me laugh a little when Jeff and Carla's son, Cole, looked and me and said "Who are you? What are you doing here?" LOL!! He did not recognize me as it has been so long. Here's a photo of my parents. We were eating breakfast at IHOP, of course. And of course she was on the phone!
Hopefully we'll get to go back to TN at Christmas and I can see everyone again!
